West Virginia Regional Sports Network has confirmed that the company plans to improve several current features on the site as well as add several new features for West Virgnia sports fans. The WVRSN staff pointed out that many emails have been sent wondering what has happened to the "Forums" link or message boards. "We want our fans to know that we have committed to replacing the old Zides board with a new and improved board that will serve our viewers better. We apologize for the current delay but have made replacing the message board a priority for WVRSN.com", stated WVRSN President Dana Ferrell. "We expect the new board up any day" he added. The new board should eliminate spam and allow wvrsn staff full moderator control.
Other improvements include a updated picture gallery that will allow fans to upload their own sports photos to the site.
Several new pages and features are planned in coming days. They include a WVRSN.com "Store" where fans can purchase WVRSN apparel, gear, and magazine subscriptions online.
The WVRSN.com homepage will get a fresh new facelift.
A new sports calendar will allow fans to add and view upcoming sports events around the state.
A new WVRSN classified page will allow postings for tourneys, games, players, items for sale and more.
A new seperate "links" page will include every imagineable sports link from around West Virginia.
A new "WV Sports Directory" will include many important sports contact phone numbers, emails and web pages for sports around the Mountain State.
The most exciting new features will include sports video clips, many sent to WVRSN.com by our viewers and reproduced into mini shows from our site. Sports highlights, interviews and exciting news will be just some of the great content availiable from WVRSN!
